NACAC Emerging Admission Professionals: Steps for Success

NACAC created the Emerging Admission Professionals (EAP) initiative for those with 0-3 years of experience in college admission.
EAP engages admission professionals through educational sessions and networking opportunities with seasoned professionals from NACAC and its local affiliates.
Educational sessions take place in conjunction with National College Fairs in the spring and fall.

Steps for Success
College admission is a fast-paced, ever-changing profession. For new professionals there are some important considerations to take into account as they navigate their way through the field. A panel of veteran admission professionals will share their paths and the support they received to get to where they are now. Topics to be discussed include:
• Pursuing graduate school
• Finding a mentor
• Creating work/life balance
• Career trajectory.
